NLVA elementary school benefits include:
 bat365’s full-time Elementary School students benefit from online instruction that leads to an innovative and enriched school experience. The majority of the coursework will take place in the online environment using Canvas, a learning management system, with the guidance of an at-home Learning Coach (parent/guardian). Teachers and counselors support students in a variety of ways including phone, email, live chat, small groups, and text. Students will participate in whole group instruction throughout the school day on 3 assigned days per week. Students are then expected to attend prescriptive small group sessions and work independently with support from their at-home learning coach for the remaining 2 days per week. Teachers will have daily conference time set aside to meet with the Learning Coach as needed. The teacher and learning coach will work as a team to help students with concepts, skills, and assignments. This will take place through web conference, phone, or email. The Learning Coach is asked to find assistance with childcare for younger siblings during the meetings so they can focus on the student and their lesson during the scheduled time.  Learning Coach
Every elementary grade level student must have an at-home Learning Coach. The Learning Coach must be an adult, usually the parent or guardian, who is responsible for assisting the student in maintaining progress in the online learning environment. Active involvement of a learning coach is a requirement for the program. |
